The Use Of The First Elevator.
Before the inventions of the elevator came up, sometimes the poor would have the idea to use a rope and a basket to transfer food and water. They would only use this process when they needed items in second story buildings so they didn't have to go up and down stories. Around the middle ages and the thirteenth century, hoisting devices were powered by man, animal or water. Not only the poor used this theory, but young kids would use it to play, and use their imagination too.
The Way Water Pulled The Elevator.
At First instead of the elevator being pulled by an engine and after it was pulled by people, they used water to hoist the elevator up.
